It's been exciting times down at Instore, and we've recently welcomed Lorri Dangerfield to our growing team. She brings in a world of retail experience and will be a tremendous asset to our team.
We recently caught up with Lorri for a quick Q&A to get to know her better.
Firstly Lorri, tell us about your background briefly and what's your role here at Instore?
I have over 25 years experience in Retail Management. I have worked for companies such as Mcdonalds, Cue Lonestar Steakhouse & Saloon, and The Good Guys. Over my career, I have learned that your most important assets are your people. If your people are happy and on the same page as yourself anything is possible. Operations of the business runs smoothly, happy customers, happy staff, results in top line sales and hopefully bottom line profits. My role here at Instore Security is to promote, sell and assist retail stores and related sectors find solutions to their retail theft problems.

What’s your favourite ’90s jam?
Have to admit I was into grunge: For you young kids out there: Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Inxs, the list is endless, sorry I can't pick just one...
What’s the last thing you watched on TV and why did you choose to watch it?
Oh no embarrassed a little it would have to be a home reno show... and NOT the Block FYI...
Spicy food - yes/no?
Spice Yes...Heat, hell No!
What’s the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume alone?
I worked as a chef on a private yacht in my 20's... The Yacht was called the Welsh Liberty (now renamed Amazon ) and we sailed around the Mediterranean.
What does Lorri's ideal weekend look like?
Having very young kids, usually involves a park, picnic, walks, cartoons, housework.
Weekend just for me... head to the coast, beach during the day and go out and listen to a live band at night
Do you have any hobbies or favourite pastimes?
I do love to cook and garden...Yep... Cooking what European doesn't love cooking for people and gardening I find quite cathartic,
What's your goal here at Instore?
To continue the great work the team have been doing here since 2000. Generate new business, build on existing, and also help the company with future success
